What it does

Routing uses NDI's native redirect — no video passes through the box, so switching dozens of destinations costs almost nothing. A 4-core box handles pure routing comfortably, and even light audio muxing / breakaway runs fine on modest hardware — only heavy Distribution-Amplifier fan-out or big multichannel mixes want more cores.

Crosspoint matrix

Requirements

x86-64 Linux host or Windows 10/11 (Docker, ISO, or installer)
Gigabit Ethernet — required for NDI
Modest hardware — pure routing carries no video through the box, so a 4-core box is plenty; light audio muxing / breakaway is fine on modest hardware too. Only heavy Distribution-Amplifier fan-out or large multichannel mixes need more cores.
